Alde Fluid Change
The majority of caravans and motorhomes that have an Alde heating system installed, come with blue 2 year antifreeze installed. After 2 years this should be changed for G13 pink 5 year fluid. Systems with blue antifreeze can be topped up with pink G13 antifreeze, but blue should never be added to pink.
Glycol G13 not only protects against frost but also takes care of the system for increased service life. Glycol G13 should handle temperatures down to -37 °C, and adds a protective layer against corrosion, it lubricates the circulation pumps and contributes to preventing bacterial growth in the system. Glycol G13 provides sustained protection and only needs to be changed every 5 years.

An alde Fluid change costs £200, this may seem expensive, but it covers the cost of equipment used, labour, purchasing of the new antifreeze, and the disposal of the old antifreeze.
